FitCity Teens is a strength and conditioning program for teens ages 13-18 ranging in all ability levels and goals. Our program combines age appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with high intensity training to support each teen’s personal goals, boost confidence, enhance overall wellness and establish a lifelong love of fitness.
Proper technique and mechanics are taught under the Certified eye of Coach Chandree, to ensure safety and increase strength and power, while also focusing on basic gymnastics to improve agility, mobility and flexibility.
Our program will increase physical competence in ten fitness domains: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. If your teen is already an athlete, our program is designed to take him/her to the next level with focus on mechanics, recovery, flexibility, nutrition and prevention of overuse injuries. If your teen is not an athlete, our program will help him/her establish healthy lifestyle habits and build self confidence. We want our FitCity Teens to develop positive body image, improve cognitive function and protect them against injury while in a community of like-minded peers who can turn to one another for support.
