Lots of people these days have heard of CrossFit. Maybe from your friends (some obsessed, or so it seems), perhaps from the media, or you may have even caught a snippet of the CrossFit Games and thought, “those people are nuts!” But did you know that CrossFit can be adapted for anyone? We have an infinite number of modifications that can fit any fitness level, need for adaptation due to disability or injury, and any shape or size. Our coaches are specifically trained to guide you through any modifications you may need to make your experience safe and enjoyable.

And within the walls of Raise the Bar CrossFit, we can further help you meet your goals in different environments.

Traditional CrossFit Classes

If you love the energy of working out with a group of people and putting in increasingly intense work as your fitness level progresses, you can join our regular CrossFit classes. You will experience a mixture of body weight movements, gymnastics movements, and Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. A typical classes consists of:

  • Warm-up/mobility work
  • Strength or skill session (at least three days a week)
  • Workout of the Day (WOD)
  • Individual cool down/mobility time

Personal Training

If you aren’t yet ready to join our larger classes, you can work with a trainer in a one-on-one or “with a buddy” setting. Your first session is free and consists of an assessment of your goals and fitness level. We’ll show you around our facility and make sure we understand what YOU are looking to accomplish. Each session is custom-designed with your goals and fitness level in mind and you’ll receive one-on-one support and training from our of our friendly and knowledgeable coaches! A typical personal training session consists of:

  • A brief review of your time between sessions with regard to nutrition, goal-setting and goal-meeting, and other health factors
  • Warm-up/mobility work
  • Strength or skill session (with one-hour sessions)
  • Workout of the Day (WOD)
  • Coach-guided cool down/mobility time

Boot Camp

CrossFit Light classes run at 8 a.m. Monday–Friday. CrossFit Light is a women’s only class and we offer daycare so you can enjoy your workout in a stress-free environment. Members enjoy a non-judgmental team atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to put forth their best effort. CrossFit Light classes are similar to our other CrossFit classes in intensity, variety, and fun, but differ from our regular classes in that there is an absence of technical movements such as the Olympic lifts.  In CrossFit Light, you will experience a more continuous, fast-paced workout, with fewer breaks. CrossFit Light classes run at 45-minutes to one-hour in length and are our most affordable option. A typical CrossFit Light session consists of:

  • Warm-up/mobility work
  • On select days, strength or skill work
  • Workout of the Day (WOD)
  • Individual cool down/mobility time

So which one is right for you? Still not sure? Schedule a No-Sweat Intro and let’s work together to find the best fit for you!
